An uncontested divorce is where both parties agree on all issues involved in the divorce, including property division, child support, custody, visitation, and alimony. In situations where the parties have reached an agreement on all matters our firm offers a flat rate fee. Our rates start at $250.00 (not including the filing fee) and vary according to your particular situation. Please contact our office to discuss whether this option will be applicable in your case.
Contested Divorce
In situations where the parties are unable to come to a complete agreement prior to the Complaint for Divorce being filed the divorce is considered a contested matter. It is imperative that you have stellar legal representation to protect your legal rights. A. R. Henson & Associates, P.C. has experience in litigating contested divorce cases in various situations and issues. Our firm has strong knowledge on the new child support laws, new child custody laws and division of marital assets and liabilities.
Contested divorces are billed at our hourly rate and require a retainer before we can make an appearance in your case. The retainer varies depending upon your unique situation. We are prepared to handle your case and are committed to resolving all issues related to your divorce.

As an adoptive parent, Andrea is committed to helping other couples with their adoption journey. Over the past thirteen years she has assisted numerous clients in adding to and completing their forever families. This includes agency adoptions, independent adoptions, relative/step-parent adoptions, and international adoptions. The legal fee is tailored to the type of adoption and each unique situation. Adoption is an exciting journey and one of the most rewarding.
We also offer representation in the following areas: prenuptial and post nuptial agreements< child custody; modification of child support and child custody; litigation and paternity; and contempt actions.
